We are thrilled to share some wonderful news with you all! Thanks to the incredible support from the Champions of Change Founders, Doug Baldwin, Michael Bennett, and Cliff Avril, Women United had the amazing opportunity to distribute complimentary tickets to the Kinship and Community families for the Champion of Change Celebrity Basketball Game. 🏀


We were able to spread joy and create lasting memories by providing these complimentary tickets to 12 additional individuals, including volunteers and friends. It was a true testament to the spirit of unity and support that Women United embodies.
We want to express our deepest gratitude to the Champions of Change Founders for their unwavering support. Their dedication and commitment to making a positive impact in our community are truly inspiring. Together, we are changing lives and creating a brighter future for all.

Empower Kinship Caregivers This Giving Tuesday with Women United This Giving Tuesday, Women United invites you to join us in supporting Black, African American, and BIPOC kinship caregivers aged 55+ in Skyway and West Hill. Our mission is to provide resources, education, and support to grandmothers raising grandchildren—fostering family unity, socio-emotional growth, and self-determination. Through impactful programs like Hope’s Closet and Grandma’s Hands Art Therapy, we’re creating safe spaces for families and caregivers to thrive. Hope’s Closet provides gently used clothing for men, women, and children, while Grandma’s Hands Art Therapy brings creativity and healing through jewelry-making, painting, sewing, and more. 📅 Giving Tuesday Goals for 2024: ✔️ Recruit 20 new volunteers ✔️ Raise $5,000 ✔️ Increase awareness of our mission and services 💡 Ways to Get Involved: 1️⃣ Volunteer – Support our initiatives by sharing your time and skills. 2️⃣ Donate – Every contribution, big or small, creates a lasting impact. 3️⃣ Share – Amplify our mission by spreading the word on social media.
